THICKENED was created by independent designer Chen Weijia with a simple belief: everyday repair products should be stronger, smarter, and easier to use.

The idea began with a common problem seen in millions of outdoor fences: wood posts weaken, rot, or lean over time, while much of the surrounding structure remains usable. Instead of replacing the entire post or digging out concrete, Chen developed a zero-dig structural intervention approach designed to reinforce the existing post with less waste and less disruption.

The Fence Rescue Ecosystem reflects his design philosophy: practical engineering, durable materials, and product ideas that solve real problems in the field.
